About Healey Barn
Healey Barn is a stunning converted barn wedding venue, near Corbridge in the Tyne Valley. Built from a fantastic set of traditional barns, this wonderful wedding venue sits on a hill with beautiful views south to the moors in the distance.
The Long Barn, which is used for ceremonies, has spectacular oak beams, is totally candle-lit and is headed by a gigantic fireplace to create an enchanting and romantic atmosphere.
Leading off the Long Barn, there is an Oak Dining Room. It has stunning woodwork and a glass walls giving our guests a fantastic view of the Northumbrian countryside. The Oak Room is designed to feel spacious and luxurious for smaller numbers, but with some rearrangement of the soft furniture, it will comfortably accommodate higher numbers.
Sheltered by the buildings there is a charming courtyard which is perfect for post-ceremony drinks on a mild day, and at night will be quite magical with fairy-lit trees, flares and lanterns.
Completing the package is Cripps Kitchen’s inimitable food. We like to make our food dramatic as well as delicious, with giant rotisseries and BBQ’s (we already own Britain’s largest BBQ at Stone Barn in Gloucestershire!). Our formula is “Buy the best, cook it simply, serve it generously”.
